Just four minutes after taking the lead UTSA doubled their advantage through some good link-up play from midfielder Channing Machen and defender Kaja Skare. That created space for Lacy to run in to and easily score the goal.

With a two goal deficit Middle Tennessee pushed to fins a goal and with just over half an hour to play a series of corners saw the Blue Raiders pull a goal back. On the third corner, Abbie Brown swung it in for Jordan who headed home the goal.
